Terms of service
Last updated: 26 September 2026
These terms apply to Construction Connects Invoicing, operated by Steven Collins, trading as Construction Connects (“we”, “us”). Contact steven@constructionconnects.com.au. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
What the service does
The app helps you manage business and client details, prepare invoices, generate PDFs, send invoice emails and record payment status. It is currently in development. Features and availability may change as development continues.
The app does not currently collect payments or independently confirm that a client has paid. Marking an invoice paid or unpaid records your instruction. An accepted email-sending request does not guarantee delivery to the recipient’s inbox or that the recipient has read it.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for any business whose information you enter. Provide accurate information, protect access to your account and contact us if you suspect unauthorised use.
Your invoices and responsibilities
You are responsible for checking client addresses, invoice numbers, descriptions, dates, prices, GST treatment, bank details and any legal wording before finalising or sending an invoice. Only upload and send information you have permission to use.
The app is an administrative tool, not accounting, tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for your business obligations and for keeping the records you need. Download copies before deleting records or closing your account. Updating an invoice does not replace copies already sent to a client.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for fraudulent invoices, spam, unlawful content, impersonation or attempts to access another person’s records. Do not interfere with the security or operation of the service.
Your content and privacy
You retain your rights in the information and logos you upload. You permit us and our service providers to process that content only as needed to operate and support the service, including generating and sending the invoices you request. Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled.
Availability and changes
We aim to provide a useful, reliable service, but maintenance, faults and third-party outages may interrupt access. Keep your own copies of important business records. We will give reasonable notice of material changes or planned closure where practical, allowing you to export your records.
Fees
These terms do not authorise any subscription charge. If a paid plan is introduced, its price, billing period and cancellation terms will be shown before you choose to purchase it.
Ending use or suspending access
You may stop using the service or delete your account through the app. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful activity or a material breach of these terms. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Contact us if you believe a restriction is a mistake.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a problem with the service, contact us so we can investigate and provide any remedy required by law.
Updates and questions
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will publish the revised date here and notify users of material changes through the app or email where appropriate. Changes will apply prospectively. Contact steven@constructionconnects.com.au with any questions or complaints.
